I'm a little disappointed since my StarCraft II CE pre-order from Best Buy was delivered the day before the launch; I was hoping that I was going to get Cataclysm CE the same way or on the day of release.  That was the main reason why I went with Best Buy and place my order on the day they started taking pre-orders (Aug 22).  The closest store to me is 100 miles away.  Most of my friends went with Amazon and they're getting theirs a day after release, but it seems my order won't even be fulfilled. 

I would think that if you take pre-orders, you would be able to make sure you would have enough on hand to send it out once it's release.  Isn't that the whole propose of pre-orders?

If I had wanted the standard copy of Cataclysm then I wouldn't had put in a pre-order, instead I could of just gone to Wal-Mart or GameStop since both are within 2 miles from my home.

man, i just spent the last half Hour writing up a Rant for this topic, Because i'm in the same boat (well was, gamestop is still Selling Collectors editions, hint hint.)

But ended up deleting it all just to say, I'm Done with Best buy, the only time i would ever set foot in the door is to perhaps Buy some overpriced items when there are plenty of places to get them cheaper (once again, hint hint)

And, on that note, You have sooo many stores where your Geek Squad are just Immature pricks who think just because they've got the badge, that they know everything, Can you believe that you're hiring people that will go out on a Limb just to Prove that if you don't have a Cert saying 'i went to school to work at best buy' That you shouldn't need to work on computers? Please.... Any of the gooftards that are working near my store wouldn't even know the first thing about Registry edits to Improve Computer performance, let alone how to edit the msconfig to disable bloatware that hogs down every single one of thier Computers that they sell in store..

Looks as though Gamestop is my only option at the moment for Cataclysm CE and I called them earlier to hold one for me.

I wouldn't had mind if Best Buy would have delivered the product after the release date; but to have them say they won't ship any out even after placing a pre-order because they wont get anymore in the warehouse.  Then try to get us to buy the stand-alone with a free gift certificate instead, seems wrong. 

Isn't that bait and switch?!

Why do you want the CE so badly?

The only ingame item you get is a pet.  The random physical items are going to wind up with a closet within a month.

I did the digital pre-sale through Blizzard and was up and running as soon as I woke up Tuesday morning.  (Expansion data downloaded the previous night.)
