Why can't you guys ever get it right?

I ordered the 5 games for $100 promotion. Screwed up and took weeks to get my certificates after MANY calls.

 

Now the Mass Effect 3 promo. 2 weeks later NO DLC codes. 

 

The $20 unlocked e-gift card promo. Are you going to send that?

 

If I leave acouple items in my online shopping cart, you send an e mail to help me check out.  Really?

 

Are you guys for real? You have my e mail address, my Gamers Club number and my shopping history.

 

Is it too much to ask for you guys to stop the B.S. ?

Mass Effect 3 ($20 or $10 E-gift card depending on if you are an unlcoked member) wont be sent out till after the 2-25-12 as stated on the promo.

 

Just call or pm a moderator on here and they will get you your DLC code

 

I too delt with the preorder 5 get $100 promo, but lucky for me since BBY gave me the run around, having to purchase a 6th game and waiting $60 days past when i should have received my money ,they gave me an extra $100 so all is good and all is forgiven:smileyvery-happy::smileytongue:

I do know that the date is the 25th. I expect to not receive it also. 

 

My gripe is that EVERY time they do a promo they have problems.

 

They quit the rebate business but they now do everything they can to alienate good customers.

 

I don't want to wait on the phone to get what should come automatically.

 

Gamestop hands codes out with the item on the receipt. What's with Best Buy? Bad computers? Glitch? What?

 

I don't want to hassle for what was promised. Zero credibility for the little things like this and I will never trust them for Big purchases.

Bad training. Virtually every code now SHOULD be printe on the receipt.

The cashier has to add it by hitting F5 (think its that one, it's whatever suggested products key is). On of the suggestions will be a $5 digi code. When they add it and complete sale it will package out to $0 and it will print on the receipt the code. It will then also email it to you ONLY if they do the above steps.

Tell local management that the cashiers need training.

Just to correct you zztoluca, they have to send them out by 3/25/12 which is kinda ridiculous since I don't see why they need almost 2 weeks after the promotion ends to get customers a simple E-gift card.

i agree with you, why two weeks. every other egift card promo is in 2 to 3 days

but whatever free $20 is worth it that's why i luv BBY:smileytongue:

They are learning. BBY ran a promo a few weeks ago where you got a $50 GC w/ purchase of 3ds. Their system didn't auto deduct the GC amount (they didn't want the GC amount deducted so it could still be PMed) and many people bought the 3ds and returned it a day later. Letting them keep the $50 GC.

Likewise they now want us to have a $20 GC (just like the 5/$100, but just for 1 game) and still be able to PM. So to detract and catch people from buying/returning multiples they give a wait. This way they can offer us the best deal while still trying to cover their own butts.

We have been seeking ways to offer compelling offers and good experiences, and I'm sorry to hear that your experiences with our gaming offers have been less than stellar.

 

We have created our Gaming-BBY profile for customers to contact if they experience difficulties with pre-order DLC codes.  In this instance, however, I am sending you a private message with your code.  As has been indicated, you should receive your e-gift card on 3/25.
