Why Pre-order with Best Buy?

2 Phone calls to Best Buy corporate, one direct message on the forums to Best Buy Support with no response, still no digital key for Destiny 2. I prepaid 100 back in May for something I could have been playing since Tuesday night had I just got direct from Playstation store. Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where he tries to pick up a car he reserved, but they didn't keep the reservation.

 

Best Buy is very good at taking money, not so good at delivering on goods apparently. My only option is to now dispute the credit card charge I guess for goods not delivered and walk into a store and grab it off the shelf?

 

Based on my experience with this, and from reading other issues, I will be posting negative feedback on every digital purchase ever offered by Best Buy to ward off consumers.

Could it be that they sent the code for Destiny 2 to an old email address that you may have had in your MyBestBuy account? I know for a long time they had one of my secondary email addresses linked to my MBB account and it took something like SIX MONTHS to get them to fix it right. 

 

It definitely wouldn't hurt to check any other emails you might use for the code.
