I'm seeing complaints all over the place of people getting their orders cancelled on this sold out item. I'm getting worried. I ordered this early last month, and my order is still valid. I am debating going to Walmart at midnight because I'm not sure if I can rely on this preorder with all the complaints of them being randomly cancelled. It seems most of them are due to the recent store closings, but i've seen a few people that ordered them to be shipped to their house get cancelled too. This is really unacceptable, and a customer shouldn't have to worry on if his preorder is actually valid.

So when are these shipping? Before the release date of May 15th? Will we know 100% if our preorder is sucessful before the release date (aka a tracking number, or our order changed to shipped)? I would like to avoid going to Walmart but if my order is still "In Progress" come 10PM on May 14th, that's exactly what i'll end up doing. =/

I wouldnt cancel bro. It will be sold out everywhere else on the 14th. I ordered mine like a week after release date was announced and I have had no problems so far. My order has been there every time I logged in. The people getting it cancelled probably ordered it right before they sold out meaning they had to cancel some to get the quanity right. If you ordered it way in advanced why bother? Also express shipping is what it is. It would be the same for almost all companies regardless in terms of "time it takes to get to you."

They try thier best to make sure it gets to you 5/15/2012. But dont be suprised if you get it 5/16/2012. But you paid a lot of shipping. So it wont take more than 1 day. Thats why its called 1 day shipping. 24 or less hours. Which means 24 hours from 5/15 and when your truck comes around.

Best Buy is a great company in terms of shipping. I wouldn't cancel your order. I came on here to get input of when the pacakge is shipped as well because I was hoping they ship it on the 14th, but I saw this post and wanted to let you know my input.

Since I ordered in March I could've picked anywhere, but in the end I went with Best Buy because I think they will do a better job.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting your question about shipping on the CE for Diablo III. The fastest way to get any copy of a preordered game is to choose in store pick up. That way, you can get your game at a midnight release or on the day it is is released.

If that isn't an option, for whatever reason, the fastest shipping we have is Express shipping. After your order processes within our system, typically one day of processing on the shipper's side and one day to get it to you. At this time, we are unable to offer delivery on release day.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting your question about your Diablo III CE preorder. Ashestowake copied a response that I had given to another user regarding this. While I don't have any thing particularly different to say on the matter, it's my understanding that the copied post still holds true. Very rarely do we get authorization to ship items any earlier than our typical procedures, and I haven't heard any exceptions for this title.
