An update, any update at all would be appreciated, as i havnt gotten that email as of yet. no mean to rush, just putting it out there that there are people still concerned over this matter. thanks

You should have seen an email by now if you are one of those that received a steelbook for the wrong console version so make sure to check your filtered email folders as well.

I never received an email about receiving the wrong steelbook, checked my spam folder etc.
Luckily I was able to go down to my local best buy and swap steelbook versions, but that defeats the purpose of ordering online. Also I'm curious about what was in the email.

I have now received 2 PS3 steelbook cases (the "replacement" just arrived this morning), despite ordering the Xbox 360 version of the game and confirming my actual order showed the correct case. I was disappointed when the original package arrived with the wrong case, but when I opened my replacement only to find it too was incorrect, I was quite upset.
After speaking with a customer service representative, I was told they no longer have the steelbooks in the system and cannot even attempt to send me the correct steelbook case. Frankly, that is ridiculous.
I have not receieved any email about the incorrect console version of the case either; is there any more news about those emails orwhat course of action Best Buy is taking to correct this blunder?
