Well I made the call only to find out somthing i got over a month ago is now on back order. Due to the fact the order is in my husbands name i can not cancel it. And they also could not even tell me when they think it will arive. This is the 2nd time ive had this night mare with best buy. Im one to give second chances but not a third. So instead of running with my guild mates trying to reach 80 ill be the little gnome sitting in the inn and waiting on best buy to figure this out and send me my upgrade

Sorry to hear you're so disappointed with this process. While I'm not a WOW gamer, I know from other online MMORPG gaming I've done that it's hard when people you really like to play with get so far ahead - it's hard to catch up, and you want to be part of the excitement!
The truth is, even if your preorder wasn't on backorder, it's unlikely that it would have arrived to you in time to play this weekend as the items don't ship until they are officially released. Still, please know that your husband can cancel the preorder if you should happen to find a copy at a store sooner. I hope you're able to procure one so you can leave the inn and join the fun!
