I was disappointed that my order of the dark edition was cancelled. I read the email and called in to take up on the offer of preordering the enhanced edition and had a question. Since the order was placed over the phone, do I still get the free t-shirt that was suppose to come with the enhanced edition? I do not see any sort of indication that I would recieve a free t-shirt.
I would have asked sooner if I would have been aware of these forums. I usually never had an order cancelled on me though for a game.

WOW!!! This is really a HOT!!! Topic!!! I haven't preordered online, because I don't trust it. When I found out that GameStop stopped taking preorders for The Witcher 2 Dark Edition. I flew over to one of the BB's to see if it still could be preordered through the store. This was March 15,2012. The print out online said there would be a free T-shirt bonus. I preordered 2 through the store. As time got closer to the release date, the print out online said the T-shirt bonus was a bonus for ordering it online. I shot off an email and was told this was true. I was very upset because the print WAS CHANGED after I preordered the game!!! But I was getting the games. On April 17,2012(release day), my wife had to go to the store twice. There was a problem with the SKU: for the Dark Edition. She went during her lunch and back after she got off from work. Still the same problem. But they had the games and T-shirts. I was the only person to preorder the game at that store. They sent 2 copies of the games and 6 XL T-shirts!!! Some how they got the purchase SKU: resolved and I got my items. Today I looked at my purchases through the Rewards Zone site and saw that I purchased 2 Creative Concepts for $99.99 each. I thought what the "Hello" is this!!!??? So I had to send off another email to BB to get that fixed. No response as yet. Maybe the Creative Concepts were the T-shirts??? Pretty expensive T-shirts at $99.99 each. LOL!!! But the real problem is, there were no RZGC bonus points!!! At least I can say I got my games!!! LOL!!! WHAT A MESS!!!

Thank you for keeping me posted on what's been going on with your Witcher 2 t-shirt and experience. From what it sounds like, you are all experiencing slightly different situations and I will be happy to look into each of them for you. I just wanted to throw a post out there to let you know I am working on getting some additional information, and will post again with more information as soon as I have it.
MadDog, I checked your information and it looks like the those $99.99 strange SKUs were supposed to be the CE of the game and not the t-shirt. That would be a pretty expensive t-shirt! I saw that was refunded to you, though.
In a nutshell, we are aware that the stores had issues with the Dark Edition SKU, and I will try to keep you each updated as best as I can on the t-shirt situation. Thank you for hanging in there!

Hi again,
I have an update and I hope it help address your individual situations.
For those of you who placed a preorder for the game on Bestbuy.com, the t-shirt should've been automatically added to your cart, if the promotion was running at that time. Unfortunately, it is my understanding the promotion was not retroactive, so only those that placed preorders while the t-shirt was listed would be able to receive the shirt.
For those that placed their preorder in store, the stores should've been equipped with the t-shirts to hand out with all preorders. Your best bet would be to speak with the store management with your preorder information and they should be able to help you get a t-shirt in store.
For those that had placed Bestbuy.com preorders for the Dark Edition and received some additional information about your cancelled order, your new order should've included the t-shirt.
darkbringer - I don't see that your new order was placed with a t-shirt, so if you could please send me your order information from the original preorder and new order that you placed over the phone, I can send your information onward.

I did not return those items. I called the Premier Silver Member # and for some reason(which can not be explained at this time). It says I returned those items. I DID NOT!!! They gave me the points and bumped the issue up the chain. What I am concerned about now is if I'm going to get the credit towards my $2500 mark to renew my Silver Membership??? I didn't ask that question.

It's my understanding that because the items are showing as returned, those purchases wouldn't count toward your RZPS mark. However, as you've stated, you never returned the items. Since we don't have a way to make purchases "appear" on your account to count toward what you've lost by mistake, you have taken the steps that I would recommend.
For whatever reason, an error was made and you shouldn't be losing your status. Remember, your status is good for the year, so if you're RZPS now, it's my hope that it won't be the end-all on your status when it comes time to review your account. If you've had the issue escalated, you are in good hands. I'm familiar with these types of situations and am confident you are receiving the proper help.

I'm reading this forum with a feeling of hopelessness, and that I'll never see my pre-order bonus. I just googled that I had not received my pre-order t-shirt and found this forum. I received an email April 2, confirming that I would be receiving a t-shirt and that it would be shipped separately. I called BB a few weeks back, as I had received nothing in the mail (just the game) and they promised the "promotional item" would reach me soon. It did not. I just called again this afternoon, only to the told the same story. I'd rather know the truth, if they screwed up, tell me they don't have any T's instead of the waiting. My first pre-order with BB and my last. My husband had the same fiasco with a pre-order bonu, that he also did not qualify for a Rock Band 3 Strat guitar. What a mess the system is. Why is it not investigated and fixed for their customers? Lesson learned here, don't pre-order from BB.
