K-Mart currently has Dead Space 3 on sale.

I purchased Dead Space 3 on BestBuy.com as a pre-order and picked it up on release day. (2/5/13)

I contacted the 1888 number posted that your price match policy directs people to contact for bestbuy.com orders.

I was then informed by the associate that I could only price match PRIOR to a purchase, and the only way I could get that $20 would be to return the game in the store and purchase it at K-Mart.

Am I able to get my purchase price matched to K-Marts sale?

Do I need to return my copy to Best Buy and purchase it at Kmart?

I too was wondering about a pricematch as Kmart and now Amazon has Dead Space 3 for $39.99, but it seems Best Buy isn't wanting to pricematch?

Bill. I have not yet returned my item/purchased at Kmart as I'd like to keep my business with Best Buy.
I've had few problems in all the years shopping with you, (Though what problems I have had are all recent), and it's extremely frustrating when someone is straight up rude/unable to assist me in a cordial manner with something I'm to believe was your current policy at the time I purchased the item.

Best Buy will price match Kmart as long as you have one within 25 miles of your delivery address.

I am sorry for any confusion left from our phone associate.  Our current policy, found here, states that a price adjustment can be made within the return period when proof of a current lower price is provided.  In this case you have a Kmart in your local area, and I was able to verify the $15 price difference.  Based on what I am seeing, it does appear you were eligible for a price adjustment by our BestBuy.com support team.
