Just called customer support and after about a 5 min wait, they sent me my code right away.
How did you get them to do that? I called them three times.
Attempt 1 - A woman told me it would come in 48 hours.
Attempt 2 - The woman didn't speak English, and it sounded like she had her headset stuffed halfway down her trachea.
Attempt 3 - A woman told me it would come by the 22nd.
3 attempts, 3 different answers.
And no code.

I could not be more furious right now. I did everything they said to do online but it got me NOTHING. I called just now after getting home late from work and they said they gave out all the codes an hour ago, and THEY CLOSED THE CASE from my prior phone complaint, simply because they were out of codes. If I didnt call that would have been the end of that. Never mind the fact that I sent a PM at 10am Easter Standard Time today (which was never read) stating I needed a code. Now my case has been sent to "the media center" and whenever new codes arrive I will supposedly be e-mailed one. I have never seen a customer service nightmare like this. I am a premier silver member, preordered 4 games this month alone, but if I ever want to get a preorder bonus it sure as heck won't be from here again. Best Buy cannot advertise enough its pre-order bonuses about games, but they seem baffled now when we expect this one. It just sucks that people who listened to "wait 48 hours" and "we are working on it, don't keep calling/emailing" are the ones that got hurt. We apparently should have all just pounded the phone lines and online customer service demanding our codes. Completely unacceptable. If they had come out and said "sorry, we received a small amount of codes it will be 3 days" I wouldn't have cared, its a farily meaningless download, at this point its a matter of refusing to be treated this way after years of loyalty to the company. Has anyone else been told "when we get more codes you will get it, but we don't know how long it will take"?

This is just ridiculous. I PM them on the 15th and they told me I would get a code by last night. No code and apparently there are no more codes for them to give out. Very dissapointed in the way best buy handled this. This will be the last time i use them for any pre-order.

I have also not received a response to my PM. My PM has not even been read. I have sent a new PM. I hope this can all be resolved, either with sending us all what was properly purchased from Best Buy, or in the form of some serious compensation. I had pre-ordered MW3 Hardened Edition from Best Buy only to show up at the store and have them tell me that they don't have any more. Best Buy is letting a lot of things slip because they think we won't go anywhere else.
