Hello. Before Christmas, I participated in the Rewards Zone promotion where I pre-ordered and then purchased 5 Xbox 360 games and then received a $100 electronic coupon in return from Best Buy. I've got just over one month left until I have to use the $100. Today, I decided to go to Best Buy and buy "LEGO: Harry Potter years 5-7 because it was on sale for $19.99. I was thinking that I'd be able to use part of my $100 towards this purchase today. However, I was told that I pretty much have to use all the $100 at one time because it was part of the Rewards Zone promotion. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! Come on, Best Buy...I really didn't know this, and I was quite surprised to find this out today at the store...since I've never participated in a promotion like this before. Can't you make it a bit easier for your customers to use money we get back from you for store purchases? Now I have to hope that I'll find something within the next month (hopefully on sale) that I'll be able to use all $100 for...at one time. I'm sorry for the frustration...but I've never heard of anything like this before.

thats how it is with all reward certificates, use it all up or you can't use it at all.
It sucks but hey... free money, can't complain ![]()
