Was just curious why online the Special Edition's are sold out, yet you can do in-store pickup and most stores have it as Available to pick-up today.

Is it an error or something?

Also, would an order placed through that be valid still? (I wasnt able to pre-order one instore before it got cut off, so i'd order one if that worked instead)

No it just means that local stores already had their allocation of the SE shipped to their local warehouse (or already to the store itself) which subsequently takes it out of online stock.

Ah, so that means theres going to be extra's instore then?

That means there may be extras in stores. I hate telling you there WILL as BBY inventory system isn't always accurate. But right now with the info you have me, yes there should be some instore

Yeah i can understand it wouldnt always be accurate. Planning to go there right at opening tomorrow morning either way.
