Recieved wrong digital download coad

Hello, I have purchased a digital copy of LA Noire for Xbox one. Order #{removed per forum guidelines}. I had difficulties redeeming this code because when I entered it on my xbox one it did not let me download LA Noire. I contacted xbox support and they informed me it was a xbox 360 code. I called your customer service and they told me both the codes they gave me were 100% a xbox one code, he was not helpful at all and pretty much just told me I was wrong. Then told me to send a screenshot of xbox support telling me it was a xbox 360 code, and gave me the email {removed per forum guidelines}, which is not even a real email. I can provide a screenshot of xbox support telling me it is a xbox 360 code. The customer service I recieved over the phone has been absolutely awful, no one will help me as they are convinced I am wrong and will not listen to me. I have been a customer at best buy for my whole life, and I have a best buy credit card. If this issue does not get resolved I will be closing my best buy credit card, and never shopping at your stores or online again. I am out $40 and no one seems to want to help. Please get back to me so I can either get my money back or get a correct code for the game I ordered. I currently have an active code that customer service gave me for a one time use, but my xbox tells me I already own this item, because the active code I have is also for xbox 360, NOT XBOX ONE.

Welcome to our forums! It’s disheartening to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your LA Noire code. I remember how amazed I was playing the original and I can absolutely understand the frustration of receiving the wrong code.

 

After reviewing your order and partnering with my support team, I’ve been advised of a couple things I’d like to share with you. The codes we provided come directly from Microsoft. I was also able to verify that the only codes in our assortment are for the Xbox One. At this time, I would recommend continuing to partner with Microsoft for a resolution on this matter.

They are blaming you and you are blaming them. Im done jumping through hoops, if you guys can't give me my money back I am done with best buy.

My intent is certainly not to place blame, I only wish offer full transparency regarding our process. A digital version for LA Noire for Xbox 360 is not within our assortment and the code is relayed to you directly from Microsoft which is why we recommended working with them.

 

I understand this may not be what you want to hear and am sorry about any complications you’ve experienced with this. Should you wish to send us the screenshot of the conversation you had with Xbox Support I would be happy to view it and share it among my support team.
