Same thing here. I pre ordered the final fantasy 12 remaster. On Best Buy's website it says in transit but usps has been stuck on pre shipping and not made any progress. Just wondering if I'll be able to play when it releases tomorrow :3

Preorder for tomorrow still processing

I made a preorder for a game coming out tomorrow, July 11th. I made the order July 5th, and status is still in the first step, processing. Strangely they didn't charge my card, it was pending the whole time and it affected my credit limit but I could see it there. Now the transaction has completed vanished from pending, but the order isn't cancelled. Is this normal, what's going on? When i made the order they assured me it would be ready for release date the 11th and ready to pick up at the store. Now the day before release I'm wondering what's going to happen.

Yea same game for me. I ordered through best buy for the steelbook case. This was my first online purchase through best buy, and it's looking like my last as well.

Same!!! If this was the case I would have just selected in store pickup. Usps says it hasn't shipped yet but Best Buy says in transit.

That's more than what I got. My order is still on the very first step, processing lol. They charged my credit card and gave it back. Guessing that's the authorization and it went through, also order isn't cancelled. Just making me uneasy not seeing any movement on the websites order status.

On the Best Buy website does your order say in transit?

Yea same really want it tomorrow. Love the game, even took off work lol. If an admin sees this, it's not under this accouunt. The email associated with the order is {removed per forum guidelines}. still hoping I'll get it tomorrow!

No it doesn't. Never even got a ups tracking label. It still says processing. Now I'm having mine shipped to the store, don't know if that makes a difference. Step 1 is processing, the preparing order, then store ready. I'm still on step 1 lol.

Welcome to our forums and thanks for your posts and pre-orders. It definitely sounds like there’s a lot of confusion regarding pre-order processing going on here, which I’ll be happy to clarify for you. 


@Kaneki_abraham it looks like USPS just updated your tracking information, so I advise you view it for an updated status on your order. 


@Eric202 the processing status you’re seeing is normal since you selected store-pickup for your pre-order. Because your game should be shipped to the store via our internal distribution network you should not expect to receive any third-party tracking information. Either later today or tomorrow morning prior to your local store opening the warehouse team should process pending pre-orders, which should trigger the system to update your status. I definitely understand your excitement and desire for an update, but as it stands now things look to be processing normally.
