I would like to know how to resolve this I have situation. I have contacted Sony. And I was told to contact the retailer I bout it from. But I went back to best buy before I contacted Sony and the customer service girl pretty much told me I was lying and that I had used to card because I had already scratched off and revealed the code. But when I tried explaining that I don't know a card is messed up if I don't scratch it off and try to use it. She just said there is nothing we can do and hands it back to me.

Welcome to our forums! It’s disheartening to hear that you’re joining us under these circumstances but I would be happy to address this for you. I can certainly understand how frustrating it may be to receive an inactive card.

 

After reviewing your account I was able to locate your purchase and see it was ordered online. Please send me a private message with the serial number listed on that back of the card you received. With that I should be able to do a little more digging as to how we can get this corrected for you!
