I am thinking of buying a 360 elite and want to get the 2 year black tie warranty now if it fails do I just take it in and get a replacement? I hope so I think its poor service to make a customer wait for a new one if the one dies on them. My main issue I do NOT want to have to deal with MS at all if my Elite dies...

With Microsoft, you are covered for 3 red light for a period of 3 years if your hardware fails. Anything else is 1 year.
