Problem with our Wii & no answers yet!

I purchased a wii exactly 2weeks and 1day ago last night my bf tried to play a game and our system would not turn on at all!!! there is still a game in the console we cannot get it out, and everytime we pressed the power button to turn it on it automatically shuts off and we have to unplug all the hook ups in the back and plug them back in before even the red light turns on that shows the power is not on i have been trying to get answers before i went back to the best buy store where i picked it up from as i purchased this online,  and had to deal with the hassle  of trying to exchange it or get a credit back or something! frankly going up there without getting any answers as to what i can do and spending my time arguing with a customer service person up there would be a waste of my time.

 

I just want to know what my options are. I still have my receipt for the product and all the parts and original boxes to everything. Can someone please help me as to what i can do, and if i can go up to the store to try and exchange it or get a store credit, or if it can be repaired or if its even worth the cost of trying to get it repaired. I've heard horror stories of the geek squad and dropping of eqipment to get fixed at the store. All i would really like to do is exchange it!!

 

If i dont get any response back in time (bc we have decided to go to the store anyway) i guess i will post again and let everyone know what happened

If you've been experiencing difficulties with your new Wii, remember that you can always return it within 30 days of the purchase date.  You'll need to bring the defective console and a copy of your original receipt/order confirmation page to the customer service desk at your local Best Buy® store, but one of our in-store associates should be able to help you out.  Just remember that we're unable to accept the return of physically damaged products!  For more information I would strongly encourage you to check out the following links:
