I was wondering if you could go to a bestbuy store and pre-order one of those games you can pre-order in the store with a bestbuy giftcard. If you can not do this can you at least pre order it with real money (like however much money you have to put out to preorder the game) and then when it comes out pay for the rest with a giftcard.

I want to pre-order Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and i have a lot of money in best buy giftcards.

You are able to utilize a gift card to purchase pretty much anything at Best Buy®, so you most definitely could use it to make either the pre-order or the remainder of the product once the game arrives.  What game are you going to be getting?
