I'm seeing a pretty common trend here on the boards about pre-order codes, so I know it's not just me, but I'm feeling kind of slighted lately with the whole thing. So far this year, I've bought a few games from Best Buy, and up until recently, they've had a pretty good record with the PO DLC codes. I'm not sure what's going on lately, but it's getting ridiculous with the amount of codes that are not going out.
So far (of the games that I know) I haven't received a code for Battlefield 3 and I got one for Assassin's Creed Revelations, but it was only 19 characters long. I'm waiting on word of whether my copy of Skyrim and Saint's Row the Third have the PO bonuses that they were supposed to have as well. This is just a venue to vent, so that's what I'll do, but I'm not going to threaten to take my business from Best Buy just because I don't get one code right away.
So, BBY employees, is this an issue with the developers, or is something going on with BB itself?

Hey Blackjack357 -
I can understand your concern with the pre-order codes having read through some of the boards here and I'm sorry for any of them you may have missed out on yourself. Consistency between titles and promotions is sometimes a tough feat to accomplish since each title/developer has its own separate agreements but we are actively working to build the best customer experience possible.
Of the games you mentioned, Skyrim is the only one that didn't have a pre-order code bonus with it. The rest were to be printed on your receipt. If you are still looking for assistance with any of those, feel free to send us a message to our Gaming-BBY inbox and include the following information:
Message Subject: Game Title
Message Body: Include...
We will then be able to investigate why you may not have received your code or why the one you received did not work and get back to you as quickly as possible. Please note that any unsolicited private messages sent to Moderators for this issue will be ignored in an effort to assist everyone promptly and in the proper order.

Blackjack357:
I too pre-ordered Skyrim and picked it up on its release date. The pre-order copy comes already packaged with the different, and extremely better map. I would recommend opening the game while still in store if you aren't positive that its correct. The game should also say "Premium Physical Map Inside" on the back of the game. Otherwise, you will have the regualr version with the cheap map inside. I had this problem and had to go back and return the regular copy I was sold for the pre-order copy I was supposed to receive. I'm sure I will have a problem with my Ultimate MVC3 code as well if my store actually ever receives copies of the game...
