Following up with everyone: went in this morning to see if my Vita was in. Store brought out the regular 3G model and would have sold me that but it's street dated and would not scan. Then they told me they called around and no one else had them and that it would be a week before a First Edition Bundle could be delivered.

I am officially done with pre-ordering from Best Buy again unless everything I order is signed and guaranteed by the store manager.

I had a Vita in my hands for 30 minutes. So sad...

It makes me sad to hear this because if it werent for this everytime a preorder would be released BBY would be the best place to shop

Lol no matter how early, they literally got 0 from Sony. Also my pre-order was in August so they had all the time in the world to get it right

Hey KoinuKoji,

Thanks for letting us know what happened with your Vita. This is truly disappointing to hear. It was my understanding that the store should've followed instructions that had been sent to them if they were not going to get enough, or any, inventory from Sony. We needed to hear from them to help them out, and it sounds like now some of our customers are being left without the Vita.

I will let the appropriate business teams know about this, because as I said, we sent out instructions to specifically avoid this kind of let down. I can only hope in the future you will give us another shot. Thank you again for your comments as they are invaluable and important to making us be a better company.

wow your local bby messed up bad, they didn't even put an order for any, for shame
