PLEASE HELP!

So I ordered the "silver" Xbox 360 wireless controller with the switching d-pad about two weeks ago. And when it finally came in, it was the black one! The Model Number is QFF-00005 and I'm pretty sure it is displayed as a silverish color as it says that in the item description. I did not order the black version, I even tried looking if you guys had a black version displayed and you didn't. Is there a way to contact you guys and see if you can make an arrangement for an exchange for the silver one? Please don't reply to this if you are unable to. I am upset that there was an error in this online order, but it would be great if anyone could fix this issue.... P.S.  I have not touched the controller nor unwrapped it, it is as new as it was when it got here. Thanks

I think they may have phased those out. The new black one has the same SKU and the silver/chrome one did say special edition.

No not the special chrome one. The one they display. And if THAT one is no longer being sold, then they need to change the pic, as it is very deceiving.

Just looked it up, chrome, silver, not sure what it's actually called but yeah that one, it's still up on the site. It has the monochrome buttons. Yeah, they should update the image, I'm thinking some stores still have that one. I just bought one yesterday in-store and it's exactly the same as that SKU besides the color and model number (QFF-00009), but stores usually sort items by SKU. I called the store and told them to hold that SKU for me to go in and pickup and was suprised to see it wasn't the chrome one.

Thing is, you may want to consider keeping that one, I know someone who had a lot of trouble (3 returns worth) with that special edition silver/chrome one having bad dead zones and stick drift on the analog sticks (eventually settled on one that was acceptable). The black one I got functioned perfectly.

I’m glad to hear that you’ve decided to purchase your controller from us and am deeply sorry that the picture of the product you thought we were providing you with was wrong. As fallouthirteen mentioned, we are in the middle of an inventory refresh with certain models. The best option is to see if a local store has a chrome model available and see if they would be able to exchange it for you.
