Order stuck in "Preparing" status

Hello,

 

I ordered a limited edition copy of a game; Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age steelcase edition for shipment as it wasn't listed for in-store pickup at the time and I have Gamers Unlocked.  That was 2 days ago and the order has yet to move past the "Preparing" status and ship.  

 

This is concerning to me as this is a limited edition and I wanted to secure a copy before they were gone and the item is now listed as out of stock at other retailers and Best Buy.com

Welcome to our forums and thank you for choosing to be a part of our Gamers Club Unlocked membership! I can certainly understand your concern of not seeing your order make any progress. I’d be happy to review your purchase and some additional insight as to the current status and when you can expect to receive it.

 

I was able to locate your order using the same information you used to sign up to our forums. After reviewing it I was able to confirm that there are no issues and it is correctly expected to arrive on or by 7/17. You should be receiving an email with tracking information as soon as it leaves our facility.

I see.

 

It's strange that it's been "preparing" since Monday and hasn't shipped out yet.  It still hasn't shipped out and it's supposed to arrive Monday?
