The Nintendo website states that Best Buy pre-orders of Kid Icarus: Uprising for 3DS will come with a download code for 3D Classics: Kid Icarus.  However, I did not find this info on the Best Buy website when I searched for the game.  Will it only be given to people who show their pre-order or will it come with the game and be available to anyone weather they pre-order or not?

Thank you! I really would like a definite answer because I do not want to go through a similar ordeal as others are now having with the Final Fantasy 13 XIII-2 novella pre-order bonus! (>_<)

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I did confirm that we will be offering that pre-order bonus as Nintendo's website indicates; it just hasn't gone live on our website as of yet.  I'm not sure how the code will be delivered, whether it will be via email or included in package, but either way you would be fine to pre-order it now as you'll still qualify for the promotion when it goes live.

It is very poor of Best Buy not to have details about this offer live on the website yet. Amazon and GameStop are both offering the same bonus and the details are very specific on their websites. My reluctance to pre-order from Best Buy without specifics stems from many Infuriating experiences with Best Buy not having the bonuses (or sometimes even the game itself) available on release day. I see even now with the Final Fantasy XIII-2 debacles that are happening, these situations are widespread and have not changed. Sorry, but I won't be making a blind faith pre-order unless the bonus offer is detailed in writing when something undoubtedly goes wrong.

I'm glad that this is finally on the website but I am still a bit unclear. Do you also get the code emailed to you if the pre-order is made in-store or is this online only?
