I'm pretty sure it is company-wide. I know before the PS3 Hardened sold out, and that was company wide. However, don't take me word for it, just a guess.

I'm sorry to say, but it does appear the Hardened Edition of Modern Warfare 3 is sold out across the board. This is a pretty big game so the copies moved pretty fast. I usually get limited edition version of the games I want so I am in the same boat as you- but I’m pretty sure the regular version will be plenty for me

Will the store get any extra copies on release day? I'm having a hard time believing that EVERY single MW3 hardened edition is sold out (on gamestop, best buy, amazon, walmart,etc. ) I live in the vicinity of a lot of major stores that sell the MW3 hardened edition, I normally just buy it from BB because of the black tie protection plan. My xbox is constantly getting knocked over and gets those rings in it, so I can just go and replace it with the protection plan. But my xbox lays down instead of standing up now so i rarely get those rings in my disc.

The Hardened Edition is showing available on bestbuy.com but only for shipping. I'm not paying $11 to get it on release day.

It is possible they could have extra copies available, but I would not count on it. I wish you luck though!

Well if you think about it is would be a wash if you already plan on Getting Call of Duty Elite. I wanted Hardened Edition but it was sold out everywhere but now i see it available online so I placed a order. (Still have my in-store pre-order for normal edition to be safe.)
