I preordered Gears of War 3 at my local Best Buy, paid my preorder in cash and bought the physical game in cash. I completely forgot about the preorder bonus until about a week ago and I went and checked my email all the way back to the beginning of September and I was never sent my Mechanic Baird code. I've called customer support about three times in the past week and they said my code should be sent within 24-48 hours. A few days went by, I called again and I was told that it shouldn't be too much longer of a wait. I called again a few days later(today) and I was told that they had my problem mixed up for a GoW3 edition 1600 microsoft point card. I told them to close that because I had no issue with the microsoft points and I asked her about my Gears of War 3 preorder and she said that they have no record of me purchasing or preordering Gears of War 3. She then told me that here was nothing that she could do without proof of purchase. It's been almost six months and I have lost the receipt.

Please! I've been shopping at Best Buy for years! I bought my HDTV from Best Buy, my brother bought his HDTV from Best Buy, and I believe we bought our mother's HDTV from Best Buy as a Christmas gift. I've never had problems with customer support until now, and even now it's over something that is basically worthless. I just want to be able to run around my virtual world as a cool looking character.
