Does Bestbuy still have Mass Effect 2 Collectors Edition in stock and can i go preorder it in store and pick it up also?

Hey SayAnything8,

Yep, we're still taking pre-orders for Mass Effect 2!  Just keep in mind that our retail stores and BestBuy.com only have access to a limited number of the collector's edition for both the PC and Xbox 360, so the sooner you visit your local store the better your chances are of snagging the copy you want.

Oh, and make sure to save your game files from the first game!  I forgot to do that when swapped out my computer's hard drive, and now I've got to play through it again before January 26th.

None of the stores nearby have pre-order cards and the employees state they have not seen them. Are there going to be pre-order cards rolling out to the okc area?

I too would like to know if the CE will be available to pre-order in-store.  When I try to order it from bestbuy.com for in-store pickup, the option is shaded out.  Why is this?

I just preordered the Mass Effect 2 CE today, but I only got my reciept. Hope I can still get my inferno armor. Usually I get a box with a code or something for most of my preorders....

Did you do so at the store?  Do they have boxes out now?

Yeah they do have the boxes in the store (even though they didn't let me keep it). I got the PC version but I'm sure they should have the xbox version as well if you need it. \

BUT it was hard to find and not well advertised. Couldn't find it myself I had to ask someone for help, and they located it.

Thanks for the heads up.  Went to my local store today and found a bunch of 360 pre-order boxes.  Grabbed it, pre-ordered the CE, and found a code for the Inferno armor inside.

ok so that clears it up for me as well, I was supposed to get the box. Looks like I'm visiting best buy again.
