So as switching games for my ps3 and when i went to open it the hinge on the top just snapped, now its only being held by the bottom hinge.

Is it possible to get an exchange for this as a deffective product?

All I want is a working steelbook in exchange

It's my understanding these were (relatively) limited quantity, but I don't think you should have an issue exchanging it as long as your store has enough inventory to do so. If your main store doesn't have anymore, or if they've been seeing a lot of preorders, you might want to try a couple other ones since in store preorders will vary by store.

I might call first, just to be safe before you make potentially more than one trip. Hope that helps and let us know how it goes!

Fail. I apologize I just realized that I wrote my response thinking you were talking about the ACIII Steelcase that comes with the preorder of the game.

But, you were talking about ME3. I am sorry for my mix up!

I would still advise similar thoughts except that it may be more difficult to find the CE version. I was able to find that you got the PS3 CE for the game and it looks like the South Salt Lake City store has a few in stock that you might be able to exchange.

Let me know how it goes and I am sorry for my mistake. That is unacceptable!
