There are 4 BB stores in my general area I frequent and they all share one thing in common...a lack of PS3 games. I go to BB about once a week as well as check the stock status online for various games. I've seen this trend for something like 2 months or more.

Make no mistake, there are some games but the shelves are generally bare compared to PS2, Xbox and Nintendo's. There are some titles that are always available: Madden 08, Call of Duty, Brothers in Arms, NBA 2k9, Oblivion, etc. And there are many titles I've NEVER seen available: MLB The Show 09, Uncharted, Lego Batman, Little Big Planet, RE5, Ratchet & Clank, among others).

Any other areas experiencing this? Is it just the southeastern Wisconsin area/Milwaukee?

So are PS3 games selling that much more? Or is BB just not stocking enough or only stocking a small number of titles?

I looked into your question a little and I have some advice for you to get your hands on the games you're interested in checking out in store.Without knowing which stores you're going to specifically, I still looked up a few of the games you mentioned in the Milwaukee area. Most of the games were in stock. Some at high levels (like 33 copies) and others lower (7 or so) but in-stock nevertheless.

However some, as you pointed out, were not. In a few stores in the Milwaukee area Resident Evil 5 and Little Big Planet were sold out due to their popularity. Also, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is not in the area either and is an outlet item on Bestbuy.com which leads me to believe it will no longer being sold in our stores.

My best recommendation as far as checking inventory for a particular game is to call ahead to the store or check BestBuy.com and request an in-store pick up. Doing this allows you to verify if the product is available or not. Also, I checked and all the games are available on Bestbuy.com.
