I preordered the PS3 game, Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning, and when you preorder you were suppose to get an email sent with a code for a special download, and I never got it. It also said that the code was going to be on the receipt that I received when I picked it up from the store, however, since I was picking up an online order, I didn't receive a receipt from the store and there are no codes on the online version of the receipt. How do I get the downloadable preorder content?

Call Bestbuy Customer Support: Call 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)
Have your online order number in hand and your account info. You should get over the phone in no more then 30 min depending on how fast they can retrive your code.

looks like ill be calling too. I wish there was a better process for things like this.
Telling people you will email a code and then dont is disappointing to say the least

I pre ordered the game in store and haven't gotten an email with the code and it wasn't on either of my receipts (the original pre order receipt and the sale receipt) should i wait for a full 24 hours or call now?

i called as well, and they told me it was just sitting there in processing, but nothing they could do. i'm so sick of these codes and how they are distributed differently every time, they need to standardize this is just always include them in the boxes

I picked up the darkness II and kingdoms of amalur:reckoning for X 360yesterday at a Best Buy store in Michigan. I had a gift card and wanted to use it so I pre
ordered these items there a little while ago.
When I asked about the codes at the store their gaming specialist or adviser or whatever his title is looked at me like I was talking about something he never heard of.
He said "you should probably have this emailed to you some time". Another rep showed up and said it should be on the receipt but was unwilling to figure it out and just moved on.
As I was checking out I was asked if I wanted to use the best buy card, after asking a question of what benefit I would have to do so I was told "you get 4% back or something and some extra rewards points". This seems very very unprofessional to me.
I also called the number to ask about the code and complain about it but they said you have to wait 48 hours before they start a ticket. What a JOKE!!!! The darkness is a 5 hour long game if you have to wait 2 or more days for a code, what is the point. Also what is the point of pre ordering something with a advertised bonus and not have that delivered, and have to hunt it down, while being treated like a nuisance

Approching 24 hours with no code or update on this issue. Very poor customer experience.

For the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning pre-order bonus, you should have received an email with your code shortly after picking up your copy as long as you provided a valid email address. Be sure to check your spam folders. If you pre-ordered in-store, that code will also be printed on the receipt.
If for some reason you still don't have the code, we would be happy to research your individual situation if you would send us the following information via private message to our Gaming-BBY inbox:
Message Subject: Game Title & Platform
Message Body: Include...
• Proof of purchase (Customer Service PIN from in-store receipt or BestBuy.com order #)
• Email address (the one you provided for the code)
We will then be able to investigate why you may not have received your code or why the one you received did not work and get back to you as quickly as possible.

actually, it said right on the website, if you choose in store pickup, it will also be printed on your receipt, i have a screen cap of that. simply put, many are not getting their codes, i've called twice which has done nothing, and the store has done nothing. it's rediculous
