I was just wondering if anyone here ordered the Helghast Edition of Killzone 3 when it was on sell recently. My order was been back ordered for a week now and the only reason I ask is because when searching around the internet I found a lot of customers who have already recieved a shipping notification and they ordered later than I did. It would be great if I could get a response from some Best Buy representative because I have tried calling and emailing, but each time I get the same automated response. Thanks in advance.

I'm having the exact same issue. I just got the email that it was backordered and ordered it on 11-28-11. I'm trying to see whether its in stock in stores but its not showing it online to check....

Yeah, I ordered it on the same day. The order was placed later in the day....I couldn't believe it went through. Its weird that it doesn't show up on the bestbuy online anymore. I am worried that the product is going to be discontinued and we will be left waiting forever. But it is the holiday season so there is bound to be delays. I wish we could just get some confirmation that the product will arrive soon or later even if we have to wait a few weeks.

From what I see online, its not discontinued. Not sure why they offereed the great price but I'm really hoping to receive it. Thinking its not online anymore cause they're backordered.

Question for anyone who knows. BestBuy's policy is that if the order is backordered then my card isn't charged until the order is shipped. When my order was previous changed to backordered the charge on my card was removed. However, I was checking my account today and it seems that the charge has once again been applied. Does this mean that my order will be shipping soon? Any reps on the forums?

Best Buy keeps doing something that causes the $ 26.whatever to show as pending on my account, even though my order still shows "Backordered." I orderd at about 2 PM on Black Friday. It took me several tries over several days to get someone on the phone. After listening to a cheese-@#!$% intro from the CEO, their phone system would just hang up on me. That's like the CEO saying "Hello thank you for calling Best Buy. I'm going to hang up on you now."
So when I finally did get through it was to an outsourced customer serviec station overseas, so the lady couldn't help much. She did say that their policy is 30 days. After 30 days a backordered item will cancel. I'm sorry but that's ridiculous. I can understand 2 weeks. 2 weeks is plenty of time to check your warehouse and store inventory and get the appropriate items to your customers without leaving them hanging for a MONTH. Give me a break Best Buy.

so, you're saying that best buy won't fulfill an order they took? that's extremely disappointing. i'm in the same boat as you, ordered the helghast edition on the 28th and have gotten the backordered status as well.
curious -- did anyone receive a copy?
