I haven't gotten my code either and I'm starting to wonder if they processed the transaction incorrectly...

The receipt makes it almost look like they cancelled the pre-order transaction and charged the game normally... is that how pre-orders are always done....?

I have a hunch that (in my case at least) the pre-order transaction was cancelled and the picking up of the actual game was treated as a regular transaction.....which would explain no pre-order bonus...

Yushua - Mine looks EXACTLY the same. I wondered the same thing. I've never pre-ordered a game from Best Buy before, but I shop there all the time.

I did. No response so far. I really hope Best Buy doesn't crap the bed on this pre-order download code offer. It's the ONLY reason I pre-ordered it. I still would have bought the game, but c'mon.

I also have not received my code.

Some people apparently had their codes printed on their receipts, and others had their code emailed to them immediately when they picked up their preorder.

My guess is that the cashiers processed the transaction incorrectly.  My cashier had no idea what I was talking about and told me I would probably have to register the game to get the code (??).

Been waiting for my code since Friday morning, still nada. Haven't gotten a reply from the admins here either. I was the first transaction of the day that morning and I noticed my receipt said Exchange. so hopefully something didnt go wrong, I thought the code was going to be printed on the receipt.

@GUSHandGO: It was actually bugging me so I actually went aaallllll the way back to the store to ask em about why my receipt looks like they "cancelled the preorder" and they explained to me that's how it's always processed... feel a little better now that I went all the way back and cleared that up but still...... unnerving this is.....

@derekfishbowl: Is this something you've directly heard/seen? I've only been hearing "I heard people say that" but I've yet to actually find anyone actually say "I pre-ordered from Best Buy and got the code." Is someone down the line mishearing something?

I've only seen people whom bought from GS say it's on the receipt...

My receipt says EXCHANGE too. So sounds like that is protocol for Best Buy.

I sent a message to Gaming-BBY yesterday morning but still no reply. Their profile shows that they were online between then and now, so why haven't I recieved a response to my PM yet?? This is really disappointing, I expected to have my download codes yesteryday when I purchased the game. =/
