Hey there guys,
Just wanted to pop in and ask if there was any method to the madness regarding the way you ship out games on preorders and why sometimes they go out in plenty of time make the get it by date and others they don't even seem to be trying.
Recent examples, purchased Horizon Zero Dawn, game shows get it by tuesday, ships out monday arrives wednesday.
Preorder Zelda Breath of the Wild, Label created Tuesday, UPS scan wednesday, arrives friday on the get it by date.
Preorder Mass Effect Andromeda, get it by date of 3/21, steelbook ships friday with ETA of Tuesday, Game not shipping til Monday, ETA of Wednesday.
Any particular insights you can provide regarding the weird fulfillment inconsistency?

It’s disappointing to hear you’ve had inconsistent experiences while pre-ordering from us, as if you’re anything like me you want to get into a new game as soon as possible. That said I’ll be happy to address your question.
We do our best with every pre-order to ensure it’s delivered as close to release as possible by shipping it out at a level of service needed for it to arrive at your door on the release day. Exactly when a game or any bonus content ships out can depend on factors such as inventory availability, or where your shipment is originating from. For example if your order has to ship from a distribution center on the other side of the country it should ship out much earlier than if your order is coming out of a store warehouse a few miles away. In the case of Mass Effect it’s likely your game and steelbook are originating from different locations.
That said while pre-orders are delivered on release day as expected the vast majority of the time, regrettably there can be logistics or supply issues outside of our control, or delays at the warehouse that may delay your order’s delivery. From time to time this means some orders may arrive later than anticipated, and I sincerely apologize that this has happened to you in the past.
