I accidentally purchased the full game (digital) instead of the expansion pass. What can I do?

Tonight I meant to purchase the Season Pass for the Nintendo 3DS game Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia. (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/fire-emblem-echoes-shadows-of-valentia-season-pass-digital-3ds-digital-d...)

 

I mistakenly purchased the retail digital version of the game (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/fire-emblem-echoes-shadows-of-valentia-digital-3ds-digital-download/1000...) which I already own.

 

Is there ANY way to reverse this transaction so I can purchase the correct item. The redeemable code that was sent has NOT been used (it cannot be used since I already own the game.)

 

I hope I didn''t just waste $40. Smiley Sad

While this may not be what you were hoping to hear, I must inform you that digital game orders, once processed, are non-refundable. We do not have any way to determine if the code was used or even cancel it if it was not. I am very sorry for any disappointment this may cause.
