Hey I have a question regarding pre-ordering. If I pre-order Halo 3 ODST and select express(The Expensive one) do I receive ODST on release date?

Also when do I get my johnson code?

I too would like to know when/how we will recieve our tokens for Sgt. Johnson. There's nothing on the site or in my local store that mentions it.

Probably and they will I think email the code to you on release date or around the release date.

How will they e-mail codes to the people who pre-order in-store? Taking e-mails isn't exactly normal store policy.

Codes will be emailed on release date for customers that pre-ordered online. Stores have pre-order boxes with the code inside for those choosing to pre-order in store.

Are those boxes on the shelf before the games release? Or when you pick up you pre-order? Because my local Best Buy only has a Pre-Order case for the Renegade Edition of DJ Hero. There isn't a single one for Halo 3: ODST or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The pre-order boxes are supposed to be out on the shelf for you to purchase before the game releases. There are pre-order boxes for both Halo 3 ODST and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Please check with your store to see if they are in a different location in the store.

i bought the pre order instore and i bought it from a little booklet. i'm afaid i wont get johnson cuz there wasnt a preoder box. please tell me i still get him.

As far as the emailed code is concerned, Nick-BBY is correct, got mine at 9:28 this am.  Store 242 has issues with information regarding this, the tongue pierced associate in video games surfed and came to the conclusion that you only get the code from ?amesto? as all their in store "pre-order" boxes were "empty".

Her and the chubby geek, seem to be under the conclusion that each vendor has a gimick, they think reach (online beta) is the best buy one?????  The geek surfed to find a one time use code for me? (he tried)

I called the central customer assistance number hoping someone will get the store a clue before the rush hits when school lets out.  Poor Erica "the messenger" is fixin to have a real bad day!  I gather the guy with the cardboard box of codes is sleeping in from the midnite release.  Would have been nice to pass the info and box to the day shift.

On the other hand if you happen by 242, do say "hi" to Erica in customer service, she went out of her way to help!  Oh and tell her the ODST PITA says hi too....us parents have to stick together 8^}

I took the preorder box up to the register and paid. They kept the box, handed me a receipt and said all I needed to do was bring the receipt back on release day to pay the balance and get the game... This was my son's birthday gift.

He opened the box tonight, very excited to get online & play with his friends (with Sgt. Johnson)... Obviously, he was extremely disappointed to discover NO CODE.

I want to someone from BB to tell me how to get this code for him.
