hello~
i recently bought a copy of Guild Wars 2 Digital Edition 3 days ago. the order went through fast and received an email from Best Buy. I was thinking that should be the CD Key for the game that I just bought but it turns out, it was a link to the Best Buy PC App that I have to download and install to get the game. I researched about it and found out that the CD Key is to be found there in the App and not anywhere else. here comes the problem then...
I tried downloading the App and i found out that my IP was blocked and you could only download it when you are in the "mainland" US. I am in the Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, a US Territory where it is considered as US in most of the sites i buy with.
now, i have no way to access the CD Key of the game since i don't have access to the App. I already placed a ticket to get my issues resolved but there has been no replies in 3 days and BWE is already over. all i needed really is the CD Key since I already got the game. my question here now is:
is there any way to get the Key without having access with the App?
if I couldn't get the Keys, will it be alright to just cancel it and then order from somewhere else cause I was worried because the item was listed as Non-Returnable.
please advise~

I beleive you can go tot he Bestbuy.com website, log in, go to My Orders and click on the order number for GW2. Then go to my downloads and it should be there.

doing that only points me to download and use the BestBuy PC App, which doesn't work for me.

Sorry, I got that info from another thread.
Do you know anyone that you trust in the United States? Like a family member or good friend? Have them log in to Best Buy PC app for you and then have them send you the code. It's kind of bad of Best Buy to allow people from outside the US to purchase a game but not tell them that they can't access Best Buy PC app.

I know exactly how you are feeling. I bought the game on Thursday and I am still in processing and have not received any form of help for 76 hours.
The Guild Wars 2 event is over. They should compensate us for the the broken guarantee that pre-purchasing the game through Bestbuy.com would guarantee access to the Guild Wars 2 event. This is false advertising.
We paid good money for service of getting the game but their is no service of product - customer service is non-existent and they are just holding on to our money.
You are absolutely right when you say this is the worst experience buying a game.

THe information on the store is misleading. They say you are not ABLE TO DOWNLOAD from outside the US, but they dont say that you will not recieve your serial code unless you are in the us.
That is just not fair since basically al NA ppl will be purchasing keys form the states.
I live in florida but Im away for the semester (work in central america), and it seems I wont be able to get my serial key, so I will have to contact Kyle. I hope I can get it by tomorrow.
