I have been reading a lot of issues very similar to mine about the pre-order of Guild Wars 2. I see most of the issues revolve around buying through bestbuy.com or within the BB PC App. I have a bit of a different scenario and I don't know if any else ran into this same thing and had the problem resolved. I bought Guild Wars 2 Deluxe Edition Digital within a Best Buy store, not online, April 25th. I was told to install the PC app and enter my registration ID for the game pre-order to get my beta codes and there is no place within the BB PC app to do that. Now there is going to be another beta opener Monday May 14 from 11 AM to 6:00 PM PDT that I would like to participate in.
With that said, I'm a bit confused as to what I am supposed to do. The in store associates have no clue what to do so maybe there is an answer here. If not, I may just get my purchase refunded and go to GameStop. This is my first digital pre-order with Best Buy and so far the experience has been less than satisfactory. I hope Best Buy gets this fixed or they may find themselves losing on this market.
