I recently bought a $20 Funcom points card in store, and the code didn't work. Contacted Funcom, they can't find the code in their database and they even tried applying it to my account. The Funcom customer support even called BestBuy support for me and talk to them. They said BestBuy should get with me shortly, which I realize could be in like 48 hours, plus im not 100% sure they have my right email. Anyways I dont feel like waiting, I need those points to play the character I want on Bloodline Champions. I wanted to just open and email ticket with BestBuy but couldn't seem to find that option so I'll just leave this here in the hopes that someone else has had a similar issue or whatever. Thanks.

That is word for word what happened to me.
It seems to me like Best Buy is just selling fake codes. When I went in, the manager I spoke to was dumb enough to think that the Funcom servers had been down for 3 years. Ive never had issues like this with Best Buy before but Im going to take this as far as I can because your right, it just feels like I bought the card from a street corner, total rip-off.

I posted a thread about this about 7 days ago and another person has had the same issue. The Funcom Points card's that some local BestBuy's sell have codes that are invalid aka useless. Funcom has been trying to contact BestBuy in regards to this with no response.
The person on this forum known as Brendan, who was supposed to be helping me, contacted me once asking for further information, about 6 days ago, and has since then sent nothing back and not responded to further messages. At this point I dont want any more help from the forums here, mainly because ive recieved almost none, I just want an email or phone number for someone who can actually help me, corporate or something like that. i bought a card myself 12-19-2012 and received one as a gift for christmas no codes on receipt. they are still selling them. i was told there was a problem with their system. they did refund my money
