I pre-ordered my LCE in-store a few weeks ago and they took my email and phone number and I was told the BMW code would be emailed to me.  I checked my email everyday since and I still have not gotten my code.  I picked up my copy this morning and the girl that checked me out was clueless about the code and said it should be in my email and I even checked the email she had and it was correct.  If there is something you can do for me I would appreciate it.

Yea, I am having the same problem.  Picked up my Pre order at lunch and now have yet to see anything in regards to the 1M, which was the only reason I bought it from here. 

Hopefully this can be resolved soon.

Don't feel bad guys. I pre-ordered online and it got canceled cuz they took too many preorders so I went to my local store and found the limited edition on the shelf. I got my download code but it doesn't work.

I am having the same issue.  I just now read elsewhere that we were supposed to get it in the store.  If so, I will be a little bit upset.  Here is where someone was saying we were supposed to get it in store:

Here someone says they are supposed to scan a barcode and it is supposed to appear on your receipt as DIG-Forza 4 Gift with Purchase 5.00 Pack Disc.  

That person then got the code in their email.

I had read over on the forza forums of people receiving there code via email earlier today.  But did we really get screwed over by the incompetence of an employee?

Okay, so I went back to the store, and after quite a bit of prodding, they checked their emails.  In one of their emails is a brochure/flyer with a picture of the BMW 1M on there, with a barcode that they need to scan with your pre-order pick-up.  When they do that, the code prints up on your receipt.  I ended up having to go back and they voided my transaction and just re-did it with the barcode.  I have my code now.

Thanks for the replies, only thing that sucks for me is I live 35 miles from the closest Best Buy and I drove out there this morning only to have this issue.  Hopefully I can still get it when I go back next week sometime.  I just dont have the gas to keep driving back and forth like that and the only reason I got it here is everyone in my town is sold out.

That really sucks.    I don't see why it wouldn't work a week from now, unless they have trouble voiding the transaction.  Hope it works out for you.

Here we go again.  I totally regret getting pulled into the pre-order 5 promo since both Gears of War 3 and now Forz 4 are all dorked up when it comes to pre-order bonuses.  I pre-ordered  2 copies of the LCE and picked them up at the store this afternoon and based on what happened with Gears I assumed the code would finally be emailed to me and now I find out they had to do it in the store...I am done with buying games at Best Buy.  I'll complete the requirements for the 5 pre-orders, but I am tried of the amatuer hour.  At least at Gamestop they have their stuff together when it comes to these types of things.  Best Buy routinely offers pre-order bonuses and everytime it gets dorked up.  I am not going back to the store, I've lost to will to deal with it anymore....
