Customer Service hangs up when I mention Guild Wars 2

This is getting to be ridiculous.  I have called Best Buy 3 times, I get transferred to 3 different people, and when I finally get to their "Downloads Department" they hang up on me when I tell them my Guild Wars 2 order is still  "in process".

It has been over 48 hours now, I have NOT received my confirmation email, I have NOT received my beta access code, and I am NOT happy.  The beta ends tonight, and my credit card has already been charged for (2) copies of the digital download of GW2.

Re: Customer Service hangs up when I mention Guild Wars 2

Update:  FINALLY got someone nice enough to talk me from Best Buy, and they looked up my order and said it showed up as already being processed and sent out, however, on my account, it still says "in process."  She told me to double check my spam folder and it was not there.  She said it should be sent out in the next couple of days -.-  That's right folks, the beta ends in less than 8 hours and I got told my beta code won't be here until a FEW DAYS from now.

Update on the GW2 issues

So I checked my bank account earlier today, and noticed that the $120+ I spent on 2 copies of the digital download of GW2 had been put back into my account.  I have not received any emails saying that my order had been cancelled or can't be fulfilled for whatever reason, and when I checked, my order still said "in process."

I finally had enough of the runaround that Best Buy has been giving me, so I officially cancelled my order.  Here is the email I got from them after I cancelled:

Hi Steve:

There's been a change to the status of your order.

We're sorry, but the item you ordered is no longer available and your order has been cancelled.

The credit card (or other payment method) used for this order has been credited. If you used a gift card and no longer have it, please call us toll-free at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289) and we'll send you a replacement.

If you used a Reward Certificate for this order, points will be reissued to your Reward Zone Program account within 3-5 days.

Item details are listed below.

Thank you.
Best Buy Customer Service

Nice to know that the game was unavailable all this time, right?

My message to everyone who has an order that's still stuck "in process" is to cancel the order and buy directly from guildwars2.com or GameStop.  You will get the download and your beta code almost immediately.

Thank you Best Buy for making me miss the first beta weekend on a game that I've been waiting to play for 5 years.

Re: Customer Service hangs up when I mention Guild Wars 2

Hello Rubbersock,

Thank you for joining the forum.

I am sorry about all the trouble you have had with your order; obviously this is not the way our orders are supposed to process. I am really surprised that representatives on the phone were just hanging up on you when you were asking about your order- we expect our agents to be much more helpful than that. This is the first time we have tried this type of order, so it is clear we need to fix some issues here.

I looked into your order and can see that it was cancelled. I am sending you a private message to assist you further. To check your private messages, make sure you are logged into the forum and click the yellow envelope in the top right of the screen.

Regards,
