Hey tmrocks1995,
That's quite strange. The digital download should automatically read the files that were downloaded and not have to prompt for any discs so that leads me to believe there was an error in the download process and perhaps a corruption in one of the downloaded files.
I think you were on the right track trying to restart the download. Have you closed out of the PC App entirely and restarted it to see if it will allow the re-download then?

Yes! The App will crash.

I've literally restarted my computer and repeated the process.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I've got one more troubleshooting step to try and then we'll pursue an alternative method of downloading/installing the game.
If possible, locate the install .exe file in the folder PC App uses for installs here:
C:\Users\ [User Name] \AppData\Local\Best Buy pc app\DigitalShelf\
Replace [User Name] with your predefined Windows username and, once in the DigitalShelf folder, you should see the folder for your Crysis 2 game. I'm not sure if it's PC App prompting you for the disc or the actually install process but this is worth a shot before taking further steps.
Let me know how it goes. We'll get your game up and running one way or another!

Having the same problem.
Downloaded the Digital copy of crysis 2 to my Win 7 Pro system. Was given the option to manual install by the pc app.
The first time I tried to install, it went throug a C++ installation and then tried to install the game which resulted in the "insert CD/DVD into drive" message.
I tried going directly to the Setup execution file in the app data folder and the same thing happens. I've also placed the entire crysis 2 install folder in to an .iso file, mounted it to a virtual drive and............................... you guessed it, clicking the setup file on the virtual drive yields the same results: "insert CD/DVD into drive"....
I have also disabled my firewall and have uninstalled previous Crysis editions and EA download manager. Still get same results.
Burning the data to an actual DVD seems to be out of the question due to size.
I will not download again. Took over 20 hours the first time.
If there is not a simple fix, I need to know how to get $40 credit back or have the actual dvds shipped to me instead.
