If you saw a link to patch 1.5  that will let someone with the version of this game downloaded from bestbuy.com install it, Please repost it... I can't find it.

I can't vouch for if it works, but this is the page of official patches for downloaded Best Buy games.  COD:WAW Patches are right at the top of the list.

Wow, they finally posted it...how many weeks has it been?  I guarantee the same thing will happen with the next patch.

What I did was take an ISO of a friend's disk, mounted it with daemontools and installed, then got the latest nodvd patch and regular update patches elsewhere.  Mega fail on BB's part that I needed to go through all this to install the latest patch the day of release.  Posting it on the download site weeks after release is unsatisfactory customer service.

Sorry Aaron but I will have to respectively disagree. I contacted Digital River about their lack of having the patch 1.7. I was treated in a manner that I have never been in my life. They were rude, did not understand what a patch was and when I contacted Best Buy , I was told that if I need the patch to go out and purchase the DVD. Digital River's and Best Buy's customer service sucks big time. Contacting Activism is a waste of time as you are redirected to Treyarch. The "Customer Service" rep that I spoke to at Best But told me that Best Buy is not really affiliated with DR but Best Buy's ads are all over the receipt I was emailed. I am done with DR and I used to only buy DVD blanks at Best Buy, from now on [b]Censored Company[/b] will get all of my business. Anyone reading this, do youself a favor and stay away from DR-Far Away!

I had to do the above. It is a shame. I will never purchase another item from Best Buy. Their support does suck as well as The Geek Squad. They told me that the method I used would not work. To offer a product and not offer support is lame. If any one uses Digital River, lots of luck. They will never proved the 1/7 patch , I was told by DR. It does make a difference, the game loads faster and there are noticeable improvements. Too bad that Best Buy did not close and that other store stayed open. Now I am done with this, I am off to the FTC and The Better Business Bureau
