Now I know that BB (as well as other retailers) was just allowed to pace the Hardened Edition of MW3 up for sale. But one question I had is it says that if you want to opt for store pickup it says you can get it on 12/31/2011. The issue is that the games release date is 11/8/2011. Now is this because its newly listed or an availability thing? Any input would be appreciated.

Well now it got moved to an store pickup date of 9/2/2011 and switched it to coming soon to pre-order online. I really hope that my trying to find an answer to a rather important question just screwed me out of a chance to get a Hardened Edition.

You should be able to pick it up in-store the day it launches. We still can't pre-order in-store untill Sunday.
