Once again I did a preorder at Best buy and never recieved my code for extra map.   Here is the info you will need to get me my code as you can tell this is not my first time with this problem.   I can assure you I will not be pre ordering anything from Best Buy ever ever again.

best buy doesn't give you code for maps nor do any of the other retailers for preordering. All you got from bestbuy if you preorder was the specat camo and i belive unlock a few guns early.

**The only way to receive the new maps for free was if you purchased the Limited edition of the game,

make sure you got that version, if you do activate the code that came with it if you havent already done so, then go to the in game store and download it.

If you're talking about the Karkand dlc, you have to have gotten the LE ( which was a free upgrade for preorders) so you should have gotten it.

The free Karkand dlc, which includes the promised maps, is tied to the LE (and only the LE) online pass. Once the DLC becomes available you will be able to download it free IF you redeemed the LE online pass.

Thanks for your message about not receiving your preorder bonus. The content we offered was the SPECACT Kit for the game, which to my knowledge doesn't contain any maps. Jimmienonman and zztoluca offered some further insight on a map that was available with the Limited Edition.

I had to remove your preorder and purchase information from your post per our forum guidelines, but I will take that information and do some investigation for you. I'm hoping we can get this resolved for you. I will be reaching out to via private message with additional details.

As others have pointed out, there was no pre-order "map", it was the SPECAT Kit for your character IF you pre-ordered the game, but just about everyone who pre-ordered knows the disaster that it became with Best Buy receiving the Amazon.com pre-order codes instead (which wasn't a Best Buy issue, it was the powers that be that supply the codes TO Best Buy who screwed up). It created a major nightmare only for those who qualified for it, but also for Best Buy themselves, who stepped up to the plate to make things right.

First thing you should always do when dealing with a pre-order code is make sure YOU Give Best Buy your current email address, never assume they have it on file, and then also check your spam/junk mail folder as sometimes emails can go there. Hotmail is notorious for doing this by the way if you happpen to use Hotmail. If you did pre-order and qualified, then yes you are entitled to receive the code to unlock the kit, but check your spam/junk mail folder first and again, always make sure you give your email address when pre-ordering.
