OK, here's my experience.
PC version pre-order.
In the store early this evening to pick-up. I purchased at the CS desk with my pre-order receipt. After walking away I noticed that there was no code or mention of bonus on the receipt, so back in line where the guy in front of me has the same issue. Neither rep knew about it and after a few minutes of internet searching they found some mention. They managed to get something to show on the receipt but no code. One rep said it should be email, but not sure and it would be fine if you just want your money back.
So home and hours later I have no email. Time to call BB. Nice lady on the phone tells me immediately that THEY HAVE NO MORE PC CODES. That's right, they had them, and now they're out. No ETA on more codes. No course of action other than to call back again later and good luck oh and by the way thanks for being a silver member.
Yeah.

This experience has totally been unacceptable, I pre-ordered the game at BBY San Bernardino, CA #150. It took me almost an hour just to pick up my game, I go to customer service at the pick up line and I get told to go to the video game dept after I already waited 20-25 minutes. I get over there and there is somebody doing a trade in so I have to wait yet again and get sent back to customer service to complete my order. I get home and check my email and I'm surprised to see no email for the DLC. I read all the buzz on the forums over the Best Buy fiasco so I decided to call the store, I call 3 times and waste my time because nobody answers the phone. I then call the premier silver number and get sent to tech support only to be on hold for 25 minutes and get told there is nothing they can do. Honestly, what is going on? I should have just pre-ordered on Amazon, received my $20 credit and dogtags (since everybody here seems to be getting it) not have my time wasted.

insane, is the problem with the DLC code not being put on your reciept? If so I'm just assuming that whoever rang you out unfortunately failed to follow the procedure that was necessary to adding the pre-order content SKU. This is a bummer and as an employee myself its sad to see this happen, it was most likely a result of miscommunication. Fortunately though, it is fixable.
I posted the SKU for this item earlier, and from what I've heard from some guys it helped you out a lot when you provide the SKU to Best Buy employees (I am glad that this helped!!) Although the SKU is actually 5 dollars (which gets reduced to 0.00 when sold with I BELIVE the game SKU, and provided someone did pre-order it), even if it is being a seperate transaction, stores have a few options for having to get around this, and get this to you for free obviously, since you pre-ordered the game and were simply not given the proper SKU.
It is my understanding that this SKU MUST be on the transaction to get BOTH:
a.) the code printed on the recipet
b.) the code e-mailed to your e-mail address, as this individual SKU prompts for an e-mail address for this purpose.
If this SKU is not on the transaction, it will not print on the reciept or will be e-mailed.
Once again, for reference, the SKU for the XBOX 360 SPECACT DLC is 3823156. I'm sorry but I dont have the other SKUs on hand.
If it's too inconvienent to go to the store, I initially suggested to see if you could call them up and do the transaction over the phone, but a corporate community mod here offered to take private messages for individual cases, so you can try that too!
Hope everyone gets their SPECACT/DogTags/whatever random surprise bonuses soon!!

It's Best Buy, coem on. They will do nothing to rectify this situation, other than provide us the code, maybe even days/weeks/months later.
In the end they will do nothing to compensate us, or even make it up to us for yet another fiasco they caused.
Best Buy, just give me my code already, I expected to get it WITH my purchase, since, you know, that's what you told me when you sold it to me. But after all this, I will not return. I spent a total of 4 hours trying to get this code from you, you know, the one you used to get our sale? Everyting from contacting my local store, chat support, 1800-BB and even returning to the store with the instructions posted here, FROM a BB Rep, all ending with a BB employee treating me like I'm trying to steal from them (when I tried to tell them step-by-step what needed to be done).
Treat me like your competitors do, and then we can do business.
Next time you need to add fine print to your pre-order bonuses, "Preorder with BB and SOME people MAY get the code SOONER or LATER" then there will be no confusion.

I stopped back by Best Buy last night and calmly explained the situation and Heather, who was working the desk just made a quick call back to games, and took care of everything in under 5 minutes. Even took the time to point out where the code was on my new receipt.
Thanks for your help on here guys.
