I pre-ordered BF3 Limited Edition on-line and was given the Standard Edition @ Store 299 (Crabtree Valley Mall, Raleigh NC).  I did not notice this until the recent release of the Back to Karkand DLC and the fact that my version did not automatically download it for free as was advertised with my LE pre-order.  It turns out that I did notice upon receipt of the game (10/24), where upon I asked if the version I was receiving was the Limited Edition and was told yes, even though the box did not indicate as such.  Typical teenager work-ethic I suppose of not checking because it requires work.  So now, I have to shell out $15 for my DLC that I was promised at pre-order.  Am I still within a window to return for the Limited Edition I pre-ordered?  I can supply order number, name, etc. upon customer service representative request.

The return period for Battlefield 3 would likely be up at this point given that it's a 30-day period and the game released in October.  However, we may still be able to assist if you could send us the following information via private message to our Gaming-BBY inbox:

Message Subject: Game Title & Platform
Message Body: Include...
• Proof of purchase (Customer Service PIN from in-store receipt or BestBuy.com order #)
• Email address (the one at which you’ve been watching for the code)

We will then be able to investigate why you may not have received your code or why the one you received did not work and get back to you as quickly as possible.
