The ad on the Bestbuy.com website says that if you purchase Arkham City, you are supposed to get a FREE download code to download the Batman Under the Red Hood animated movie on Cinemanow.  I never receieved any code when I picked up my PS3 copy of Arkham City at my local Best Buy last night.  I completely forgot about it until I got home.  How do I go about receiving this?  If anyone could help, that's be great.  Thanks!

The code was on a sticker on the shrink wrap for me, hopefully you didn't throw it out in tearing the game open when you got home.

The only sticker mine had on it was mentioning the Robin DLC pack.  There was a separate sticker I assume?  I didn't see that on any copies on the shelf.  I wonder how I can go about getting this now.

Clfsong is right that the CinemaNow code should have been included in your packaging somewhere.  I see that you ended up calling in to have that addressed though so that's good!  Let us know if anything else comes up.

Hey Kyle,

I ended up calling my store and they knew nothing about it.  I directed them to the weekly ad posted on the website and they said that part is not on the physical copies of the weekly ad they had in store.  The gaming rep said none of their copies had a sticker mentioning the free Under the Red Hood movie code and suggested I called corporate.

So that's what I did.  I was assisted in only a few minutes.  They provided me a code and it downloaded quickly and easily.

It's odd that the online ad showed the free movie was inlcuded and some stores got copies with stickers about it, but the physical ad did not show the movie and some stores knew nothing about it.  Either way, I am happy I got my copy...I love me some Batman cartoons, hehe.

I just bought the game and see no sticker. I haven't opened it, because I don't want Best Buy to think I just took the code out. What should I do?

 I will chime in on this because I think I figured out what the problem is. As the ad for this week states, the free movie download code was to come with the Arkham City video game, but what I have noticed in my local stores is the video games didn't get the code, BUT, the Blu-ray release of the animated Batman: Year One release did have the code sticker on the outside of the package. There is no mention in this week's ad that the Blu-ray release would come with a download code for the film, so I would have to believe that while the ad itself was correct, there was a miscommunication to stores perhaps and the Blu-ray movies were stickered with the codes for Under the Red Hood instead of the games themselves.

I would go back into the store if you are in the area and check to see if the Blu-ray Batman: Year One has the code sticker on the outside of the packaging. Perhaps show the ad to the store manager (be professional and polite about it) and point out that the Blu-ray makes no mentinon of the free movie download in the ad, whereas the Arkham City video game does, and maybe they got stickered in error. Perhaps they can do something for you.
