I recently preordered a video game which advertises a free,"exclusive" item if you preorder. I recieve the exclusive preorder item early and open it from it's packaging (it's in a case but it's a code to use on the PSN Store). I have since then found a better deal on this game from another retailer and canceled the original order with best buy. I am now charged $5.05 for the preorder bonus item (I knew this would happen). Here's my question - Would I be able to return this product opened to a nearby best buy and get a refund (my money back) or would best buy only offer me store credit/some other type of exchange?

Hello herbie -
You should be able to return your pre-order to any Best Buy® location, provided you return EVERYTHING that was in the package. The store should provide you with a refund to original method of payment.
Remember, you must return EVERYTHING, including the pre-order extra item.
