First off, Best Buy customer service is very frustrating. I tried calling to have this question answered and was transfered 3 or 4 times, before hanging up because I was about to be transfered again.
I just want to know how soon after purchasing the GCU can I use the discount in stores, because it isn't showing up when I try to shop online. This isn't a huge issue since I would have to do in store pick up anyways and I figure it probably needs a day to process (even though its 2017).
So yeah, I just want to know if I go to the store will I be able to use my discount. Thank you

Have you been to the store to activate it?

Not certain. When I got mine 22 months ago I had to activate it in store.

It can take 1-3 business days for the membership to be reflected on your account. Once it's activated on your account, then you'll be able to use the benefits in-store and online.
I was able to view your My Best Buy Member ID with the information you've provided to the forums and your membership appears to be active. You may need to log out of your account and back in. Also, try clearing your browsing history or a different Internet browser.
