Hello. I've tried to start my own thread but it was removed by admin for being a duplicate and they offered no resolution so I figured I'd try here. I preordered Crash Bandicoot and it has been 22 days now since it was released and I still have not received the $10 bonus. I had a $5 code that has now expired because I was waiting to combine it with the $10 code but that has taken longer than expected. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Wunders –

 

The Get $10 Bonus is something I’ve taken advantage of a number of times myself, so I definitely get wanting to make sure you’re getting any bonus you’re due. That said there’s a bit of confusion regarding the bonus here, which I’ll be happy to clarify.

 

Crash Bandicoot pre-orders unfortunately did not qualify for the Get $10 Bonus. The Bonus only applies to select, participating titles, a complete list of which can be found here. I do apologize for the confusion with the bonus, but providing you with a $10 bonus for your pre-order isn’t something we’re able to do. Let us know if you have any other questions.

I contacted the online chat and the agent said she would send me the $10 bonus. However it has still not arrived. Can you please send it again? I've checked my spam folders so I'm sure I don't have it.

As previously stated Crash Bandicoot pre-orders did not qualify for the Get $10 Bonus. I apologize if our chat agent was misinformed and told you they would have a bonus processed for you, but because your pre-order did not qualify a bonus will not be processed.

I don't understand why it would not be processed when I was told I would receive it. I called the Best Buy number after speaking with the chat agent and they also said it would be sent. There was a case created for it.

Before responding earlier I reviewed the case from your call made after I had already informed you that your pre-order did not qualify. The request made by the agent you spoke with to have the bonus credited was denied because your pre-order does not qualify for the bonus. Again I apologize for the misinformation this agent provided you, but you will not be receiving a bonus for this title.

Will you please tell me how I can contact corporate? I spoke with someone over the phone who directed me to the Best Buy webpage, which directs me to either the Best Buy number (he said I could not contact corporate over the phone) or a page intended for the media.

Bestbuy workers told me I would recieve $10 off certificate

I preordered a ps4 game and did not receive the $10 preorder bonus. I tried contacting bestbuy through a forum post that was not answered and an email that was not answered until I tried the bestbuy chat. This agent (Mary P.) Told me I would receive the $10 bonus but to give it 24 hours. 24 hours pass and nothing so I call. The back office person also told me I would receive the $10 bonus but instead emailed me a psn code I already had. I called again and was told the game did not have a bonus. I said that was not acceptable because 2 Best Buy employees have now promised me this $10. She created a case, which I was never contacted about. I check a post on made on the forum and find out there was a response, I just never received a notification of it. I told him I was expecting the $10 and it had not been emailed as previously stated. He said it was resolved and I would not receive the $10. I called and spoke to a supervisor (Jose R.) who told me he could not help after I said I just want to $10 bonus I was told I would get by 2 Best Buy workers. He told me I could call back and hope I got another site with another supervisor, that may be able to help me. I instead said I would prefer to contact corporate, which he said I could not do over the phone, that I would have to go through BB webpage, which offers me the 888 phone number or a page for the media. 

 

As I explained to him, all I want is the $10 off certificate that was promised to me by 2 different Best Buy employees. This costumer service has been awful.

I would like a phone number to contact as well as a mailing address. This is a customer service issue now, as the quality of service I have received from you and other Best Buy workers has been astoundingly awful.
