So I was gifted gamer's club unlocked previously, a couple different people have ogtten me memberships since it's been a thing - but one of them is a physical card, and it looks like it expired (and I couldn't activate it as I already had an active membership previously) - what do I do?

Thank you for being a My Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked member. I hope you're able to stay enrolled with us for years to come. Let's talk about that Gifting card.
A couple years back our My Best Buy team created the Gifting Gamers Club Unlocked cards so that customers could give a membership to their friends or family members. These cards can be used to apply benefits to a current member's account with an additional 2 years from the current expiration date on their account.
If you still have a Gifting card you can take it to your local store store and ask a cashier to follow the instructions on the back to apply it to your membership. These cards will still work for some time after the expiration date, so even if it appears expired I would still encourage you to request that the bar code be scanned on your transaction. If it hasn't been used previously and is not too old, it may still be active for you.

They said at the store that the date on the card is the date it expires, period - it wouldn'tnt work, and they called someone (the bridge? i think they said something like that) and told me to check back with you.
