Online Gamer Club purchase not activating

Was able to recieve my discount with my original online purchase with the club activation but trying to purchase additional items does not reflect the discount, just another pop up to purchase the membership again.   Please help and thanks.

Welcome to our forums and thanks for becoming a GCU Member! It’s concerning to hear you’re not seeing your GCU Benefits apply, which I’ll be happy to look into for you.

 

Normally we expect GCU activations to complete within 1-2 business day of purchase. However a number of scenarios can lead to this taking longer, such as enrolling near the end of the business week or over the weekend. Using the information you registered with our forums I was able to lookup your account and order, and do see that you purchased your GCU Membership over the weekend. Now that the weekend has passed I expect you should see your membership automatically complete activation and see your discount apply within the next couple of days. In the meantime if you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to post again.

Still nothing, wondering if I need to seek a refund and just shop else where. Based on all the comments and requests for help activating the onlin purchase makes it looks as if it simply does not work.

Hi Stoner2002 –

 

I checked on your account and am showing that your GCU Membership completed activation last week as expected, and your discount is automatically applying online like it should be. However if you’re still not seeing your discount apply I recommend signing out of your BestBuy.com account, clearing your browser cache/cookies, signing back in and adding a title to your cart to verify your discount is applying.

 

If you’re still not seeing your discount after this please send me a private message with the email address you signing into BestBuy.com with, the My Best Buy ID registered to that account, and the SKU of the title you’re adding to your cart.
